FLY DURING SUNRISE AND SUNSET
It pays to take flights during sunrise and sunset!  Luckily I was able to fly at sunrise on my way to DC and during sunset on my way home. It seems like I always get stuck over the wing, which greatly limits my view, but in this case, I found it fun to see how the light played off the metal, and I didn’t mind the interesting lines created by the wings.

FINALLY DONE WITH DC IMAGES
I think I have finally come to a stopping point with my images taken on the late-March DC trip to Photoshop World. That was a fun time to focus on photography. It is possible I will still discover my very favorite image from that trip in the dusty bottom corners of that folder, but it will have to wait until later. That has happened before!  After we think we have exhausted all our good shots, we find one more image to process that we did not see in the folder on the first ten times we sorted the image. And it can turn out to be the best of all. It is for this reason, I don’t delete all my unlabeled images… Thus the very large external drives!  How will I survive when I upgrade to the D800 with the enormous 36mp file size!  OUCH! That transistion may have to wait. I guess I could always shoot at a lower mp, but then why spend $3 Gs to upgrade?  I still love my Nikon D7000. 🙂

PROCESS:  Just a simple 10-second enhancement in Camera Raw.
