I went to the Venetian at 4:00 a.m. to get this shot without people, and it was surprising how many people were checking in and out, as if it was the middle of the day. Las Vegas truly is the city that doesn’t sleep. However, there was less traffic, so the security guards let me use my tripod. Usually they converge on you within a few minutes and tell you that no tripods are allowed. A tripod was vital for this image, because I took multiple different exposures then blended them together for a High Dynamic Range exposure.
I love this photo! You always know how to catch the perfect image. Can you send me some links or some good tutorials on how to do HDR? I have done a few and haven’t gotten what I would like to out of them. I am so thankful that I have been able to learn so much from you. I truly admire you in everyway. Thanks! 🙂
