San Juan Mission - San Antonio, Texas - Caryn Esplin
I normally post photos on my blog on M – W – F, and this week will be devoted to the San Juan Mission. If you only have time to visit one mission when you visit San Antonio, this should be the one. I will be displaying images from four different missions over the next few weeks, but this has to be my favorite. There is so much to see! The arches, the carved head in the side walls, the towers and many side buildings. It is all such an architectural overload that you can hardly capture it all in a day. I just love old things and old buildings and this place had plenty of both – Very cool!

Oh man! These are great! Next time I’m home I definitely want to check this place out. I LOVE the last photo entitled Old Tower. It’s beautiful and I love the sepia/black and white looking colors.
