Orchid Water Drop
Well, I got up close and personal with this orchid at the U.S. Botanic Garden and added a water drop for interest. I like to keep my trusty medicine dropper and water bottle handy when I am around amazing flowers. Figuring out the composition and making sure the focus is tack sharp are important when shooting macro flowers. Now, I think this is really my last orchid for now. Next time, I will share a black and white image of a sage-type flower I found at the same garden, in a neighboring exhibit with southwest flora.
