Fun shots at New York – New York in Las Vegas
This was a tricky one, because people kept walking in front of the camera while I set my camera to do its magic bracketing with there automatic varied exposures (see image below to see the +2, -, and +2 exposures. Luckily it was dark enough at New York – New York that I kept the camera on a slow shutter speed, which blurred the action and the people mostly disappeared. This worked as long as the people kept moving. Those were fairly still show up in the frame. I did have some “slurring” motion in the center back area. So, I brought one of the originals back into Photoshop and masked that part into the HDR blend.
I love the subtleness of the HDR effect within this image. You really did a nice job of capturing the colors and brightness of NYC. Even though you didn’t go to real New York City, you still created the feel of it. Great job!
