Texture, Baby – Using Dodge and Burn, I was able to bring out the interesting texture of an old monastery on the way to Mandalay!

–This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip if you love to travel and experience new cultures. Spots are filling fast for my Hands-on photo workshops in Myanmar. MESSAGE ME FOR DETAILS> I am there the whole time, fully devoted to helping you get the shot…camera settings, lighting, and compositions. My prices are about 2000 less than most international photo workshops and I can also give you a 300 early bird discount if you make the first payment by Feb 15. Then we can start holding spots for lodging and domestic flights to keep the costs down.

–It was so fun to follow these two novice monks around and see their interesting interactions in an old monastery on the way to Mandalay! The Burmese people are very open and friendly with Americans about everything… especially about sharing their devotion to Buddhism.

–PHOTO TIP: TEXTURE DODGE & BURN – I asked these two to move over by this old wall because I loved the textures. Then in post I did a quick dodge and burn to accentuate the texture and shadows. I will be there the entire time helping you capture these type of shots and I will also demonstrate and help you edit them! As a teacher, I LOVE to help others get incredible Nat Geo shots and feel the thrill of discovering unique cultures, people and landscapes. My main goal in photo workshops is to help you succeed. Come with me and you won’t regret it!
