Here are three takes on the famous lone cypress tree along the 17-mile drive near Pebble Beach, CA. Just drive south of the San Francisco Bay Area, then next time you are visiting there. I used Adobe Camera Raw on the first image with the blue jay (anyone know what type of bird this is?) . Then I used Nik Color Efex on the second image, and Nik Silver Efex for the old postcard effect on the third image. Which is your favorite? Anyone been there?
More beautiful shots of one of the most photographical area in California. I particularly love the one with the blue bird. Great depth of field, color, and contrast. I also really love the B&W, my favorite type.
These are beautiful – love the middle photo and the blue bird (doesn’t look like bluejay – but I’m loving him!) – loving the dept of field as well – colors gorgeous.
LOVE the one with the bird. Great depth of field…love the way the cypres tree is in the background with the bird in front. Awesome! I prefer the color photo in the middle to the other one. They are both great though.
The bird is a stellers jay.
This is good to know! Thanks, Michael.
