I found these old goldminer’s helmets inside an abandoned cabin at the Gold Eye gold mine. You can see from the standing water and raindrops, it was raining in this desert and the cabin was roofless, but it was not a downpour, so I kept on shooting. The colors are always so saturated in the rain. It was a fascinating adventure in the daylight, but a little spooky at night when I went back alone to do some light painting.
