Whenever I see irises I think of my sister, Deanne. She died of breast cancer in 2002, and she was a fabulous watercolor artist. I loved her paintings of irises and the transparent overlay of color she created with watercolor paint. She taught me so much about composition and painting, which carries over into my photodesign. Thanks, sis… I love you!
