Tis the season to make some homemade caramel pretzel logs, so here is my recipe. ENJOY! I usually get requests for this recipe this time of year, so if you are looking for a fun and tasty tread… these are to die for… seriously. This is one of our favorite treats at Christmastime. It is the homemade caramel that makes these so tasty, but the visual presentation makes them so fun to give away! Just think of the gooey caramel combined with the salty pretzel rod and chocolate, with your favorite sprinkles or nuts. Delish! Make some this week for your friend and neighbor gifts! Beware that they will take you about 3 hours from start to finish. You will need to gather up the right type of Guittard chocolate melties that will drizzle in fine lines. WinCo sells them in bulk, and while you are there, pick up some of the fun toppings (like the mini m&ms, chopped nuts, sprinkle, etc. in the bulk section.) They also have the pretzel rods to, but not in the bulk section. The recipe has all my tips to make these treats…
I love these! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
