Also, don’t forget to vote on your favorite from our other two categories: Bannack Portrait and Bannack Creative. Thank you for participating! I love the muted colors in the shot, it really adds to the authenticity of the photo.
A – This photo really creates a story, the focus is on the watch you recognize a women, but the story is not about her but what she is waiting for.
I like picture A and H, but I like H the most.

B…crazy good.
B is my favorite! The whole picture composition is great AND if you look to the right of the piano, you’ll see finger smudges left in the dust. Which is cool, because it’s a ghost town, everything else leads you to believe that no one has been there in FOREVER, but this little detail gives you this feeling that someone was just there.
A and B are my favorites.
A is AWESOME!
A is my favorite!
A – beautiful!
I was trying to decide between B and I, when I noticed they were the same photographer. Props to you Casey! I’ll go with B!
Thank you all, for voting! Feel free to “share this” on Facebook, etc. to get others to vote, but we will stop counting the votes at 12noon on Saturday. Then we will give prizes out on Monday. We also have a team of judges looking these over too. Thanks again for stopping by to vote!

A and H!
Image A – not only does it tell a story, but it also conveys so much emotion in the gesture of the hands in how they hold the watch. From a more technical standpoint, the lighting leaves no question of what the point of focus us and the staging/composition makes it an overall interesting piece (great use of the rule of thirds going on here).
Thank you for your detailed and insightful comment. You gave reasons why you like image A, and I appreciate that! If there were a prize for best comment, you would win!
A=Amazing!
