Congratulations to these Winners in the Bannack Photo Contest for Spring 2018

Each semester I take my college photography students (Comm 300 Digital Imaging) to Bannack Ghost Town, near Dillon, Montana. I arrange models, lighting and a variety or photography opportunities. I also ask my advanced photo students (Comm 316 Professional Imaging) to come to teach, lead and model. I also ask come friends from Montana if they can come model… which they always do!  So many people generously give back to help these students!  So that inspires me to sponsor a contest with a variety of camera gear prizes for my Comm 300 Digital imaging classes. Out of hundreds of entries, here are the winners in the Portrait and Creative/Documentary categories.  I was amazed at the creativity and outstanding lighting produced by all my students this semester! Special thanks to all our amazing student leaders, awesome models and the ten judges who helped with these selections!  Also, thanks to my amazing teaching assistant, Chantel Ercanbrack!
