Fire + Smoke + Sunset + Hayfield = This

Mega & Alpha  (ending & beginning)

I always love to go out an shoot the sunset when there is smoke on the horizon from a fire. Ironically, the smoke that makes this sunset special was also a symbol of  more than 20,000 acres burning. Fortunately, only grass and sagebrush were consumed on the upper desert south of Mud Lake, Idaho.  Fire brings new life, so this image will remind me of endings and beginnings.  These large bales also represent the end of a beautiful growing season, but the beginning of food source for the animals this winter. Mega & Alpha.

    I love how all your images tell stories. Not only that, but the symbolic imagery that you create in these simple yet beautiful photos. Your colors are very stunning and your depth of field is very fitting for the title of your image. Very nice work, I really like this one.
