Lindsey is a talented up and coming professional taking my Comm 316 Professional Imaging course and graduating from BYU-Idaho next month. While on a three-day photo excursion with my advanced students in October, I challenged them to get the best images they could with a Large Rogue Flashbender and Diffuser. (We have several sets in our university camera lighting kits for students to use.) These Rogue Flashbenders are the best way to deliver soft lighting on location. You can get killer results without hauling all those large umbrellas and soft boxes. These light modifiers fold flat in your bag and deliver the goods! Lindsey captured the first three images below in the timed event and she ended up as the overall winner. Her prize was the Rogue Flashbender XL Pro Lighting kit. I thought it was very clever how she used the model’s sunglasses to reflect herself and also feature the Rogue Flashbender. Congratulations, Lindsey!

Wow! What a talented student! Her demonstration of the use of the speedlight and flashbender combo is breathtaking. Such great instruction from her fabulous professor! So proud of Lindsey for her hard work and practice to master this lighting kit! Wahoo!
