Have you ever felt color?
This was one of the most memorable visual experiences of my life. I cannot explain the magnificent colors that stretched all across the sky and wrapped themselves around the domes, copulas and spires of the museums, cathedrals, malls, stores, hotels and beautiful government structures that make up Red Square and central Moscow. I fell in love with Russia’s capital on this night because of this singular, intriguing November sunset. My camera had a mind of its own. Everyone seemed unaware of each other as they quietly took in the splendor of it all. I don’t remember the cold air, or a single sound or smell. The visual warmth drowned out all the other senses. The sun bathed everything in living, glorious color. I hope you can feel it through these images.
What are the settings on your lens and camera? The images are almost too colorful and artistic to believe they were shot only from a camera and not touched-up. Beautiful touched-up or not.
Those look amazing! Those colors really pop! They would look awesome printed on metallic paper. Great shots Caryn!
These photos are gorgeous. I have never seen so much color before. It makes me feel like i’m there.
It definitely makes me want to visit there.
