One of my favorite buildings at Bannack Ghost Town has always been the doctor’s house. The artifacts tell a story and the window light provides a good photographic setting. These are some images I took shortly before the July 17, 2013 flood changed the town and filled it with mud, debris and marble-sized hail stones that hung around for days in the cold corners of many buildings. I look forward to returning to Bannack as soon as they reopen. I am anxious to see what the doctor’s house will look like after the cleanup. I wonder if they lost any of these old relics.
I absolutely love the third one from the top. Bannack has rich history and you definitely captured it at the Doc’s house. I’m excited to see more of your Bannack work.
Thanks for the comment, AJ! Even though you are so busy at PSW this week!
